Philanthropy & Art
Art made together.
Given for a cause.
AETHEL orchestrates live charity auctions at Casa Museo in Pino Torinese where collaborative, one-of-a-kind works by our artists are offered to collectors in an intimate garden setting — every sale channelling the majority of proceeds directly to a partner NGO's cause.

How It Works
Five stages of a benefit auction
The Collaboration
AETHEL selects two or more artists from our roster whose practices speak to one another. We define a shared conceptual territory — a medium, a theme, a material language — and invite them to co-create a single unrepeatable work over a defined residency period.
The Creation
The artists work side by side at our Pino Torinese studio. The process is documented — sketches, intermediate states, studio footage — enriching the provenance dossier that accompanies the final work to auction.
The Cause
We identify a vetted NGO partner that holds the legal permits to organise art auctions for charitable purposes in Italy. Together we define the cause, the communication, and the portion of proceeds allocated. The NGO co-curates the event narrative.
The Auction Night
The event takes place in the garden of Casa Museo in Pino Torinese — an intimate evening gathering for private collectors, institutions, and invited guests. The work is presented with full provenance, the artists present, and live bidding conducted in a setting of genuine beauty.
The Distribution
Once the hammer falls, proceeds are distributed according to the agreed structure: the NGO receives the majority share for their cause, the artists receive their cut, and AETHEL retains an operational fee that sustains the programme. Every distribution is documented and reported.

The Venue
Casa Museo, Pino Torinese
A private villa and garden on the hills above Turin, Piedmont. The auction takes place at dusk — collectors move between works displayed in the open air, with the Torinese plain glowing below. An evening of beauty before the bidding begins.
For NGOs & Foundations
Partner as a cause
We work exclusively with organisations that hold the legal accreditation to conduct art auctions for charitable purposes in Italy. If your foundation or NGO supports a cause that resonates with our artists and collectors, we invite you to open a dialogue.
AETHEL handles the curation, the artists, the logistics, and the venue. You bring the cause, the communication, and the accreditation. Together we create an evening that moves people — and moves the work.
