Xiu Min, studying in the Oil Painting Department at the School of Fine Arts, Guangxi Arts University, centers her practice on the spiritual proposition of "life resilience" through the visual grammar of Surrealism. She dismantles the original contexts of everyday objects and, through the juxtaposition and confrontation of heterogeneous images, translates pressure-laden situations—discipline, erosion, turbulence—into tangible psychological landscapes. Her imagery moves between the veristic and the absurd, giving form to silent spiritual strength within the contradictory tensions of fear and resistance, pain and rebirth.
