Paul Roger TANONKOU

Originally from Cameroon, I am a self‑taught creative with a deep passion for fashion and art. Although my roots lie in technology, having graduated in computer science, I have always felt an irresistible pull toward creative expression. My passion for fashion has deep roots in my childhood. I grew up surrounded by fabrics and colors in my mother’s atelier, located just below our home. From a very young age, I was immersed in this creative world, passively absorbing the beauty and artistry of design. However, the real turning point came when I moved from Paris to Milan. Walking through the streets of Milan’s fashion districts, I noticed the absence of African designer brands in shop windows. It was in that moment that I decided—almost playfully—to launch my first collection. I wasn’t trying to achieve a particular aesthetic or make a profit; I simply wanted to use my passion as a tool of expression, to communicate my vision of the world and affirm my multicultural identity.
