IVAN

Ivan is a young Chinese flower-and-bird painter and a postgraduate majoring in Chinese Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. He specializes in freehand flower-and-bird painting, drawing on the elegant charm of the Song and Yuan dynasties. He devotes himself to traditional brush and ink techniques and integrates the artistic conception of poetry into his creation. His works feature a mild, ethereal style with delicate and graceful brushwork. Taking flowers and birds in nature as the carrier, he inherits the oriental aesthetics of ink painting, combining traditional rules with contemporary aesthetic taste.
