Clotho

Clotho is a Chinese fashion designer and visual makeup & styling artist. She holds her Bachelor’s Degree from Shandong University of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Design Studies at Southwest University in Chongqing, China. Specializing in avant‑garde visual makeup, styling and cross‑disciplinary design, she has long dedicated her creative practice to merging Gothic aesthetics, underground subcultures, Y2K retro‑futurism and traditional Chinese aesthetics. She excels at fusing exaggerated visual language, garment construction and makeup art to create bold, impactful artistic styling with a strong, distinct personal signature. Throughout her artistic career, she has received numerous awards in professional design competitions. Committed to breaking conventional stylistic boundaries, she builds an independent and unique visual aesthetic system. Widely recognized for her highly recognizable style identity, she rejects mainstream aesthetic constraints and persists in original, autonomous visual expression.
